At last Kawasaki has made a 2 cylinder bike that I like! I used to own a Z750 long ago and since then I haven't seen a nice 2 cylinder model. Until the ER-6! This is not just a bigger ER-5, the engine is completely new developed. It has a semi dry sump to create sufficient room to place the exhaust under the engine. The gearbox axles are on top of each other (as opposed to behind each other) to make the engine as short as possible. This allows for a longer swinging arm but still a short wheel base.
All this should result in better handling. And if it doesn't, well, it certainly looks good!!
